Change has a way of showing up when you least expect it—sometimes crashing into your life like a sudden storm. One moment, everything feels stable, and the next, everything shifts in the most unexpected way, leaving you standing in uncertainty. It stresses you out as hell !!! A wave of emotions floods your mind and body like a tsunami, making it hard to think clearly. I know this feeling well.
I’ve faced change repeatedly — growing up in an unstable family environment, experiencing the loss of loved ones, immigrating to different countries and rebuilding my life from scratch, time and time again, navigating career shifts, recovering my strength after surgery, and making bold choices that completely reshaped my path. (Keep calm and breath! 🧘♂️). Uncertainty has often been an uninvited companion—yet, in many ways, also a great teacher to me and I’m very grateful for it. In fact, the very unpredictability of life’s changes has helped me build resilience, shaped by both good and bad decisions, and fueled my commitment to continuous self-growth.
Alongside this personal journey, the support of coaching, breathwork, and consistent physical activity has reinforced an important truth: confidence isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about staying grounded, trusting yourself, and taking one step forward at a time, even when the path ahead is unclear.
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about your next move, the key is to break it down into three essential steps: calm your mind, gain clarity, and take action—even the smallest one. This simple yet powerful approach has not only helped me navigate life’s biggest transitions but has also been a game-changer for countless others over the years. When you focus on what you can control— your breath, your mindset, and your next move—confidence follows naturally.

Tony Robbins, a renowned and highly acclaimed life coach, once said, "The path to success is to take massive, determined action" in his famous book Awaken the Giant Within. I believe that what may seem like a small step to one person can be a massive, life-changing action for you.

Ground Yourself First—Find Your BreathImagine you're caught in a storm while driving. The rain is coming down hard, your visibility is poor, and your first instinct is to panic. But what do you actually do? You slow down, turn on your wipers, and focus. That’s exactly how you should approach change — pause and collect yourself before reacting.
I remember when I was laid off during the pandemic. It felt like everything I had worked for was slipping away. My mind raced with “what-ifs,” and stress took over. But instead of spiraling, I took a moment to just breathe. I went for long walks for several weeks, I practiced indoor physical activities such as yoga, and reminded myself that uncertainty didn’t mean disaster. It simply meant transition.
When change hits, find a way to calm your nervous system. Deep breaths, movement, journaling, or even blasting your favorite song (which, trust me, I do a lot—especially in the shower) can be powerful ways to regain control. Change can be loud and overwhelming, but you don’t have to be. It may feel unstable and shaky, but you have the power to stay grounded, steady, and in control—even in the midst of chaos. Start with your breath—it’s your anchor.
Figure Out Your Next Steps (Without Overthinking)
Once you’re calm, it’s time to ask, What now? Not What if?—because that’s where overthinking traps you.
It’s easy to get stuck analyzing every possible outcome. I used to do this all the time—mapping out every scenario before taking a single step. But overthinking is like running on a treadmill: it gives you the illusion of progress while keeping you in the same place.
When I left my corporate job in December 2023 to travel and pursue my yoga teacher training (YTT200), I didn’t have a detailed five-year plan. Instead, I asked myself: What do I want my life to feel like? How do I see myself in the future? What do I need to take the next step? Simply reflecting on these questions gave me direction and empowered me to take the right actions. Your answer doesn’t have to be perfect; it just has to be honest with what you want for you.
" The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams." — Oprah Winfrey
If you don’t have the full picture yet, START SMALL. Need a career change? Research one new industry. Going through a breakup? Write down three things that bring you joy. Change isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about choosing a direction, one step at a time.
Take Action — Even the Smallest Step Counts
The biggest mistake people make when facing change? Waiting until they feel “ready.” Stop right there! Stop feeding yourself those excuses—“When I have this,” “When I become that,” “When the timing is perfect, then I’ll take action.” The truth is, confidence isn’t something you have before you act—it’s something you build through action. Think of it like stepping onto your yoga mat. Some days, you feel strong and balanced; other days, everything feels wobbly. But the key is to show up anyway.
When I first started coaching and teaching yoga, I didn’t feel 100% ready. I had all the usual excuses—I need to be more prepared. But more prepared for what exactly? Instead of waiting for some imaginary perfect moment, I started small — teaching one class, coaching one client. With every step, momentum grew, and each action made the next one easier.

Your first step doesn’t have to be a leap. It can be as small as:
✅ Sending an email to someone who inspires you
✅ Signing up for that workshop you’ve been eyeing for so long
✅ Committing to five minutes of movement or journaling every day
Each step, no matter how small, is a vote of confidence in yourself. And the more steps you take, the stronger you become!
Keep this in your mind : Confidence is Built in the Process — Not Before It
Change is inevitable, but so is your ability to navigate it. By grounding yourself, gaining clarity, and taking action, you’ll move through uncertainty with more strength and confidence than you thought possible.
So, what’s one small step you can take today? Even if it’s just deciding to believe in yourself a little more—that’s enough.
Change may knock on your door, but YOU decide how you answer.
